Kochi, August 30, 2024: Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEM), a pioneer in India’s electric vehicle (EV) revolution and a subsidiary of Tata Motors, has unveiled two new TATA.ev retail stores in Kochi, Kerala. Located in Edappally and Kalamassery, these premium stores are now open to the public and offer a unique and upscale experience tailored for the discerning EV community.

With the growing adoption of electric vehicles across India, consumer expectations have evolved significantly. Today’s EV customers seek a distinctive experience that extends beyond the traditional car purchase and ownership cycle. To meet these expectations, TATA.ev has launched a new brand identity focused on community, technology, and sustainability. The TATA.ev store in Edappally stands out for its distinctive design and spacious layout, making it the brand’s largest EV store nationwide, covering over 8,800 square feet. It can display more than 10 vehicles and offers ample parking for customers and visitors. The store also features a 60 kW DC fast charger and showcases the all-new TATA.ev Originals accessory range. A dedicated EV service facility will soon complement the Edappally store, featuring 17 service bays, including 12 mechanical and 5 body shop bays, capable of servicing over 800 vehicles monthly with a skilled workforce.

About TATA.ev Kalamassery

The TATA.ev store in Kalamassery provides a spacious area of over 6,100 square feet, allowing for the display of 6 vehicles and sufficient parking space for visitors. A 60 kW DC fast charger is available 24/7 for EV charging while customers explore the store. This location also offers the TATA.ev Originals accessory range. An upcoming EV service facility will feature 11 mechanical bays, with a team of highly qualified technicians able to service over 700 EVs monthly, enhancing the overall customer experience and service quality.

Both stores in Kochi are aligned with TATA.ev’s brand pillars and provide dedicated spaces for EV community events, such as workshops and meet-ups with EVOLVE members. Customers can explore vehicle prices, features, and color options using a configurator screen and learn about charging options via the EV Demystifier wall, which helps plan journeys between cities by showcasing available charging stations. Additionally, the stores feature a Blue Tokai café, allowing visitors to enjoy coffee while exploring the store and learning more about TATA.ev through a QR code-enabled map.
