Pune, India – October 3, 2024 – KTM, the largest and fastest-growing premium European motorcycle brand in India, has announced an exciting upgrade for its popular KTM 200 DUKE. Starting in October 2024, the bike will be equipped with a new 5-inch color TFT display featuring navigation and Bluetooth connectivity.
5″ COLOR TFT DISPLAY
The 5-inch color TFT display, inspired by the Gen-3 KTM 390 DUKE, provides riders with all essential information at a glance. This bonded glass display is paired with a new switch cube featuring 4-way menu switches for easy interaction with vehicle functions, including smartphone connectivity. Riders can enjoy music, manage incoming calls, and access turn-by-turn navigation through the KTM My-Ride app when paired with their smartphone.
Turn-by-Turn Navigation via KTM Connect App
Riders can connect their phones to the KTM Connect app via Bluetooth to access KTM’s accurate and versatile navigation tool directly on their TFT display. The app serves as a helpful companion, offering navigation, travel assistance, and essential KTM motorcycle data and information.
Bluetooth Connectivity for Incoming Calls
This feature allows riders to view incoming call notifications on the TFT display and manage calls using the mode switch. For safety reasons, making outgoing calls or accessing the phone’s address book is disabled while riding.
Headset Pairing
When paired with a Bluetooth helmet headset, the KTM MY RIDE-equipped motorcycle can control the smartphone’s music player, allowing riders to listen to their playlists while riding. Riders can switch tracks and adjust volume using the left handlebar-mounted menu switch, with track information displayed on the TFT screen.
Supermoto ABS Mode
Riders can disengage the ABS braking function on the rear wheel via the TFT display for controlled slides required in competitions or Supermoto riding.
Dual Color Theme with Customizable Shift RPM
Riders can customize their shift RPM and limit RPM using the left handlebar-mounted menu switch. Once set, the 5-inch TFT display alternates between a dark theme and an orange theme, enhancing the overall riding experience.
Customizable Display Options
The TFT serves as the communication interface between the rider and the motorcycle. Its clear layout of menus, options, and infographics provides vital ride information. Riders can customize display options, including shortcuts for specific functions.
KTM 200 DUKE
Highly favored among the youth, the KTM 200 DUKE offers an exhilarating ride that surpasses expectations due to its impressive power-to-weight ratio. KTM riders have always valued cutting-edge technology, and this upgrade further enhances the street riding experience.
