Around 5000 Altigreen vehicles are currently in operation on the roads, contributing to a reduction of 5300 metric tonnes of eCO2 emissions, which reflects the company’s commitment to a more environmentally sustainable and cleaner future.

In Bangalore on May 14, 2024, Altigreen, a leading commercial electric vehicle manufacturer in India, proudly announces a significant milestone in its journey towards environmental sustainability. With an approximate fleet of 5000 vehicles traversing the roads, registered across more than 173 RTO jurisdictions nationwide, Altigreen has collectively covered a distance of 50 million kilometers, resulting in an impressive saving of 5300 metric tonnes of eCO2 emissions. This milestone underscores Altigreen’s steadfast dedication to fostering a sustainable and cleaner future for India.

Dr. Amitabh Saran, the Founder and CEO of Altigreen, expressed his delight, stating, “We are pleased to witness the tangible impact of our endeavors towards promoting green mobility. By mitigating 5,237 tonnes of CO2 emissions, we are not only contributing to a cleaner environment but also establishing a benchmark for sustainable transportation in India.”

The eCO2 emissions saved by Altigreen’s vehicles equate to approximately 2.52 lakh tree-years. To provide perspective, this is comparable to the CO2 absorption capacity of 40 of Bangalore’s Cubbon Park or 14 of New York’s Central Park. This notable achievement underscores Altigreen’s commitment to combating air pollution and fostering healthier cities throughout India.

Altigreen’s significant CO2 savings serve as evidence of the transformative impact of electric vehicles on urban mobility. By opting for Altigreen, cities are not merely acquiring vehicles; they are investing in a greener and more sustainable future for forthcoming generations.
