New Delhi, 8th July 2024: Kia India, one of the country’s fastest-growing premium car manufacturers, is refreshing its trim lineup for the Seltos and Sonet with 5 new variants and a new X-Line avatar. The Seltos now offers 21 variants, while the Sonet has 22, including 4 new GTX variants with Petrol DCT and Diesel AT powertrain options. Customers can now purchase a Sonet with a turbo petrol engine for under 10 Lakhs, thanks to the introduction of the Smartstream G1.0 HTK iMT variant.

Enhancing the appeal of top-tier trims, the GTX+ variants of the Seltos now feature Solar Glass and white calipers on both the front and rear. Kia India has also expanded the X-line offerings with the Aurora Black Pearl color option, featuring an all-black glossy finish, in addition to the existing Matt Graphite option. The new GTX variant includes features like ADAS, a sliding armrest, and a 360-degree camera, enhancing the HTX variant.

In the Sonet, the updates bring popular features like ISOFIX, wireless phone chargers, rear wipers and washers, and diamond-cut alloy wheels to the lower trims. The introduction of GTX variants further enhances the value proposition of the GT Line trims in the Sonet.

Mr. Myung-sik Sohn, Chief Sales Officer of Kia India, commented, “Constant evolution and customer centricity have been the key to Kia’s success in India. These product enhancements are part of our strategy to offer customers the latest technology, features, and the best value for their money. The introduction of GTX trims will provide customers with the thrill of driving a GT line while keeping them updated with the latest automotive innovations. Additionally, offerings like a turbo petrol Sonet under 10 Lakhs and the black-themed X-line provide customers with more choices, ensuring they don’t have to compromise on their aspirations.”
