About the Sparsh Sanjeevani Initiative:

The Sparsh Sanjeevani public healthcare initiative by the Hyundai Motor India Foundation aims to enhance healthcare services in remote villages across India, making primary healthcare accessible to underserved communities. The telemedicine clinics are nurse-assisted facilities where patients can connect with specialist doctors via video calls for remote consultations. After the consultation, the on-ground nurse provides the prescribed medicines to each patient. This service is offered at a nominal charge of Rs. 100 per patient, including follow-up consultations.

Currently, Sparsh Sanjeevani telemedicine clinics operate in Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. As of July 2024, the initiative has established a network of 40 clinics across eight states, collectively providing quality healthcare access to over 1.5 million people.
