Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India and Virtual Info Systems partner to unite TrafficInfra Tech Expo, ParkingInfra Tech Expo and RoadInfra Tech Expo under ‘Smart Mobility Expo’

Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India and Virtual Info Systems have joined forces to bring about an innovative revolution in the realm of mobility and transport infrastructure. Together, they are organizing ‘Smart Mobility Expo,’ the only integrated expo in India that encompasses smart mobility, traffic, transport, parking, and road infrastructure.

This collaboration will expand upon the existing show profiles of TrafficInfra Tech Expo, ParkingInfra Tech Expo, and RoadInfra Tech Expo, uniting them under the umbrella of Smart Mobility Expo. This convergence will not only encompass core product segments such as electric vehicles, connected and autonomous vehicles, and hi-speed travel modes but also incorporate emerging technologies like the Internet of Things (IoT), data flow, and cloud services.

The forthcoming edition of the ‘Smart Mobility Expo,’ which includes TrafficInfraTech Expo, Parking InfraTech Expo, and RoadInfraTech Expo, is scheduled to take place from 10th to 12th October 2023 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. These exhibitions will collectively showcase cutting-edge solutions for roads, highway safety, seamless travel, pollution and noise prevention, intelligent transport, parking management, and sustainable infrastructure, including public transport systems.

For over two decades, Messe Frankfurt Trade Fairs India has been active in the Indian market and will bring its strategic expertise and global business understanding to enhance the Smart Mobility Expo through its extensive network. Mr. Raj Manek, Executive Director & Board Member, Messe Frankfurt Asia Holdings Ltd, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating that the show has the potential to transform India’s mobility and transport infrastructure, given the country’s rapid urbanization and successful digital revolution.

The Smart Mobility Expo will serve as an essential platform for networking with government officials from associated departments and will showcase futuristic transport solutions to cater to India’s evolving needs. The collaboration has been hailed as a significant milestone in the journey of TrafficInfraTech Expo, and Mr. Jayaram Nair, Chairman of VIS Group, believes that this partnership will create a global platform for the Indian traffic and transport industry.

According to the Market Research Future Report 2022 (MRFR), the ‘Smart Transportation’ sector is expected to propel advanced mobility facilities, with an estimated market expansion of USD 320 billion by the end of this decade. As 70% of India’s population is projected to reside in cities by 2050, there is an urgent need for rapid developments in the mobility sector to meet the country’s growing demands. India’s position as one of the world’s fastest-growing economies provides immense opportunities for advancements in the mobility ecosystem and transformative technologies.
