Cognizant and Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team Celebrate Partnership with Fernando Alonso’s Visit to Chennai
CHENNAI, September 23, 2024 – Cognizant and the Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team marked the success of their three-year partnership with a special event at Cognizant’s MEPZ campus in Chennai. The event was graced by two-time Formula One® World Champion, Fernando Alonso, who joined Cognizant’s leadership team and hundreds of employees to celebrate the partnership.
Since the collaboration began in 2021, Cognizant, a global leader in technology and professional services, has revolutionized Aston Martin F1® Team’s use of technology. Through cutting-edge data analytics, machine learning, and IT infrastructure enhancements, Cognizant has significantly improved the team’s operations and innovation both on and off the track. Moreover, Cognizant has developed immersive experiences that have brought millions of fans closer to the thrilling world of Formula One.
The event was part of ‘Celebrating Cognizant,’ a four-month series of sporting and cultural activities aimed at uniting Cognizant employees to celebrate shared values and achievements. Fernando Alonso shared insights on the critical role of technology in racing and the mindset needed to compete at the highest levels in Formula One. The event also gave fans the unique opportunity to engage directly with the Spanish racing legend, gaining deeper insights into the sport’s technological advancements and Cognizant’s role in enhancing performance.
